Chris was able to get time of, so we left on Thursday for a long weekend trip home to UT/ID for Memorial weekend. We had hoped to do a couple of hikes up Logan canyon, but were lucky to just do a couple of short walks on the River walk trail. Here are the boys next to the Nature Building.
On the Sunday before Memorial day, my family went to Perry and Brigham to take flowers to the graves. Our aunt Joyce and some of her family met us for a brief visit in Perry. After the cemetery in Brigham, we went to the park for a picnic.
We dressed warmly as the day before we had done a picnic up in ID and froze. So this day we dressed a little more warm just in case.

Ty recently conquered monkey bars and is quite proud of his abilities to cross them on his own.
Kylan absolutely loves to slide and will climb stairs to slides of any height and go down on his own.
Chris enjoyed playing on the playground with the kids.
Kylan likes to do whatever one else is doing and the zip line was no exception.

When we returned to Grandma Jensen’s, the boys went out back to practice their hitting skills.
We need to work on the proper way to hold the bat with Kylan.
