We hosted a Potty Dance House Party on Saturday March 5. In preparation for the party, I was viewing the music video of the Potty Dance and Ty and Kylan came in to see what I was watching. They thought it was great. After the first viewing, Ty jumped up and started dancing. Kylan joined him on the second round. Kylan then asked to replay it another 20 times before I had to put an end to it.
We had 4 other potty training friends show up for our potty party on Saturday. The other 3 decided it was still nap time and napped through our party. The kids loved watching the video, but none of them would get up and dance. The moms did all the dancing at our party and that was quite entertaining to watch. But the kids continued to ask to replay the video. After doing some songs and fingerplays about the body, the kids enjoyed playing outside in our nice warmer weather.
