It is hard to believe that Kylan is 6 months old, cutting his 2 bottom teeth, sitting up on his own, eating 3 baby food meals a day and chatting away (baby talk of course).
Kylan was born November 2, 2008 at 5:55 AM in Raleigh NC. He came pretty quick compared to Ty – this may have been due to the 3 mile walk/run that Ty and I did the night before on the Duke Trail. When Ty goes for a walk, it is usually a run.
At 2 days old, Kylan was rolling over from his belly to his back and pacifying himself with his fingers.
Here is Kylan’s proud older brother Ty and a very proud father. It actually took a few days for Ty to hold Kylan. However, he was giving him kisses and soft hugs as soon as he saw him. The first night home, he did say that it was time for Kylan to go back into mommy’s belly.
6 days old and so precious. Nothing is more perfect than when they are sleeping so peacefully!
Ty is always happy to help with anything. He was so excited to help feed Kylan. However, I had to keep reminding him to keep the bottle up so the milk would come out.
Kylan was not crazy about bathtime for a couple weeks. However, he soon warmed up to the idea and absolutely loves to kick and splash in the bath now.
Kylan was blessed December 7, 2008 in our home ward of Durham. He was one month old. Grandma & Papa Clark were visiting.
I think Ty was tickling Kylan – it sure is fun to get pictures of them together.
At bedtime, Ty moves over and shares his bed with Kylan. Here is a fun clip of them one night for story time.
While dad was cleaning the carpets downstairs, Ty and Kylan watched Madagascar upstairs on Ty’s Thomas coach. Kylan is nearly 3 months here.
Kylan smiles and gets exc ited as soon as we say Bathtime. He can lay in the bath and splash for almost a half hour at a time.
We put Kylan in the intellitainer at 4 months and he has loved it. He was quickly able to turn himself to the area he wanted to play at.
We first attempted cereal and milk at 4 months, although it looks like he is eating it, he did not really take well to cereal at first. We tried it for a couple nights, but he was never interested. So we waited and tried again at 5 months. He took right to it – and within a few weeks he began eating 2-3x/day.
Kylan and Reagan, a friend from church - March 2009.
Kylan eating away. He loves to eat when we do and enjoys watching dad and Ty eat.
