It seemed like Kylan knew it was his day. He woke up very happy and excited and loved that we kept singing happy birthday to him. Ty of course, sang his many versions of Happy Birthday for him.
Kylan’s favorite breakfast so far (as well as Ty’s) is German pancakes. So that is what we made for breakfast. Sometimes it is hard to tell if he is clapping for excitement or if he means “more”. We have been trying to do some signing and for “more”, Kylan claps his hands instead of putting his fingers together.
We enjoyed the morning together as a family before Chris had to go to work. Then the 3 of us, Ty, Kylan and I played together in the apartment. Kylan did not take an afternoon nap and I was afraid he probably would not do well for dinner as he would be tired – which ended up being the case. He was so tired, he did not really want to eat, and was not interested in his Birthday cake.
