After Ty’s half day of school where he went on Friday for his teachers to determine his current skills, he asked when he would return and could not understand why he had to keep going to Bright Horizons preschool. When we arrived at Bright Horizons on his day before his first full day, his kindergarten friends Patience and Harper greeted him at the door excitedly chanting, “We’re going to Kindergarten.”
Wednesday, Sept 1 finally arrived. Ty excitedly got dressed, ate and put on his backpack. He kept urging us to hurry and come on. As we left the house, he was across the street and on the sidewalk before Chris and I made it to the end of our driveway. He actually worked up a little sweat running most of the way to the school.

He made it – and we are early. After mom and dad checked in at the front office, we had to wait at the doors for the bell to ring to go to Ty’s class room.

Ty had a great day. Dad picked him up from school. Ty told us all about his day, what he has in his classroom and the activities they did. He loves the entire school experience.
