Friday, June 3 was the Kindergarten End of the Year Celebration. The parents gathered at the amphitheater outside. All the kindergarten classes performed a song that had been written by someone’s father. It is in 4 parts, after the first part, we thought it was over and I had stopped the camera, so there are 2 parts to his performance.
After their song, we gathered in our individual child’s classroom. There, each child received an individual certificate based on their personalities. Ty received, “Largest Vocabulary” – his teacher said he speaks like he is 25. When congratulated, Ty would respond, “Yes, I do have a large vocabulary, especially about trains.”
After the awards, his teacher handed out books that each child had written. Guess what Ty’s book was about….. Trains. Ty read his Train book and we enjoyed bagels and fruit.
Then it was time to go. Ty got a picture with his teacher Mrs. Delsorbo on the way out.
